Who We Are

To help and empower diverse learners in school and life.

Vision

Hawaii students and families have access to research-based education practices.

Values
  • We value and appreciate diverse learners, as well as their gifts and contributions.
  • We value educators and families who support success for diverse learners.
  • We value the cultural diversity in our community.
  • We value donors who help students achieve hopeful futures through state-of-the-art education.

Hawaii Resources for School Success focuses on increasing local student success through early identification and effective interventions for struggling students by providing:

  • Strengths-based, individual Student Assessments, learning profiles, learning plans, and classroom follow-up.
  • Teacher Training using the Schools Attuned® teacher professional development component.  The strategies learned can be applied to all students in the classroom and provide teachers and families with tools to help manage a student's learning.

North Hawaii Women and Children's Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1998, with the vision Hawaii students and families have access to research-based education practices.
